K2 and Proximity are launching a new business with the same name and brand: Industrial Industrial iot Services
K2, a company based in New Jersey, and ProXimity, based in Florida, announced Tuesday that they will launch a new, one-stop, online platform for industrial services called Industrial iota Services.
Industrial iots is a joint venture between K2-based Proxocation and Industrial ioto.
“We believe that there is an increasing demand for innovative, high-tech, high capacity industrial services and this platform will be a key part of our plan to grow and thrive in this rapidly evolving market,” said Matt Stumpf, CEO and cofounder of Proxocated.
The platform will allow industrial owners and workers to access information and resources on the latest technology and processes.
The new business, which will be available in early 2018, will include products and services for residential and commercial use, as well as manufacturing, commercial and industrial services.
K2 has partnered with Proxocate, a global leader in the industrial sector, and will also provide manufacturing and industrial engineering services for Proxocations industrial customers.
“K2 has long been recognized as a leader in industrial services technology and the addition of ProXocate to our portfolio of industrial services platforms is a natural fit for our company and will provide us with the most comprehensive set of services for the industrial market in the industry,” said Stumpff.
“Industrial iota services is a key piece of our future strategy to drive growth and innovation in the global industrial space and is an ideal partner for K2 to expand its presence in the world of manufacturing.”
The new platform will bring together the two companies’ expertise in industrial technology, power and cooling, and advanced manufacturing processes.
Industrialiota will provide information, products and information services for industrial customers, such as home and commercial, and also will assist with manufacturing projects.
“Our vision is to create a single platform for the industry’s industrial needs,” said Michael Eichner, cofounder and CEO of Proxiote.
“The industrial sector is one of the fastest-growing and fastest-changing segments in the U.S. and it is an area that we are deeply invested in, so we believe that Industrialiots platform will help us achieve our long-term vision of bringing the Industrial Industrial Technology and Operations (ITO) industry to the global market.”
In a statement, Stumpfiess said that “the Industrialiot Platform will be the perfect platform for providing the industry with all the information it needs to meet its most complex requirements.”
The platform is available in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian.
Proxooted is a global company founded in 2014 by two former employees of K2.
It is the second largest company in the American solar energy sector with about 1,000 employees.
